Meningococcal Group B Vaccine (BEXSERO)
BEXSERO is a meningococcal group B vaccine. It is a prescribed for children 2 years and over to protect them from a disease caused by a bacteria called Neisseria Meningitidis Group B.
This bacteria can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections, such as inflammation of the covering of the brain and blood poisoning.
It has been out of stock due to a a worldwide demand for the vaccine. Recently Riverview Pharmacy has been able to source this intermittently from one of our suppliers.
